01 — GROUP IDENTITY & PURPOSE

The group prioritizes:

1. Emotional stabilization over trauma reprocessing
2. Safety, grounding, and nervous system regulation
3. Peer support without pressure to disclose trauma details
4. Gradual rebuilding of trust and self-efficacy

02 — WHO THIS GROUP IS FOR

Adults (18+) who may be experiencing:

• PTSD or complex trauma symptoms
• Anxiety, hypervigilance, or emotional dysregulation
• Attachment trauma or relational trauma history
• Recent destabilizing life events (loss, abuse, medical trauma, etc.)

Not appropriate for:

• Active psychosis without stabilization
• Severe unmanaged substance withdrawal
• Individuals requiring higher level of care (PHP/IOP/crisis stabilization)

03 — WHAT TO EXPECT

• Type: Open/rolling admission 
• Duration: 60–90 minutes per session
• Frequency: Weekly
• Location: Telehealth
• Group size: 6–12 participants
• Facilitator: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Ingrid Middleton, LCSW)

04 — CORE CLINICAL MODEL

The group integrates:


• Trauma-Informed Care framework
• Mindful self-regulation skills
• CBT grounding techniques
• Somatic stabilization practices
• Strengths-based recovery model

05 — INSURANCE & FEES

We accept HMSA, HMAA and UHA for group therapy. If you're covered by one, let us know so we can verify your benefits before your first session. 

Self-pay: For those without an accepted plan, group participation is available at $40 per session.
