Yoga Therapy Workshop Now Available!

Our workshop is carefully crafted to create a safe and nurturing space where participants can embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing. Guided by experienced and compassionate instructors, you will delve into the ancient wisdom of yoga combined with modern therapeutic approaches to address trauma’s impact on the body and mind.

Through gentle asanas, breathwork, meditation, and mindfulness practices, our workshop aims to empower you with tools to cultivate resilience, restore balance, and foster a deep sense of inner peace. 

Regardless of your level of experience with yoga, this workshop is designed to be accessible to everyone, providing a supportive environment for growth and healing.

WORKSHOP ITINERARY

Class 1 – Pranayama: We explore calming breathing practices suitable for anxiety and trauma. 

Class 2 – Embodiment: How to move mindfully in the body. Staying present while noticing shifts and changes in the body and also what to do when it feels like too much to be in the body.

Class 3 – Ritual: Helping clients connect to a deeper why through journaling practices, acknowledging rituals they may already have that bring them a sense of peace and how to expand on this to help keep their commitment to practicing regularly.  

Class 4 – Deep relaxation: Learning to practice gentle meditation that can help reduce stress or tension in the body.

This Yoga Therapy Workshop can help with:

WHAT to Expect:

  • Classes will be totally virtual
  • Dress in comfortable clothing suitable for movement
  • All practices can be modified to meet your needs
  • Bring a yoga mat or simply set yourself up somewhere with soft ground (carpet or rug)
  • Bring a journal and pen

WHEN: Session times are determined based on client and therapist availability.

HOW:  Price ranges from $25 - $40 per class depending on number of individuals that sign up. Max of five (5) attendees will be allowed in each workshop to maintain a private environment.
