We're Hiring: Mental Health Therapist (Independent Contractor)
$80 per clinical hour | >$110K/year for <30 hrs/week

💰 Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Pay: $80 per clinical hour (Psychologists earn more—contact Erik Acuña for details)
Earn Over $110,000/Year: While working fewer than 30 hours per week, assuming 48 working weeks/year (4 non-working weeks/year)
Biweekly Direct Deposit: Get paid every two weeks regardless of insurance reimbursement
Get Paid for Your Time: No-show? Late cancellation? You’ll still be paid when clients violate our policy
Free CEUs: We provide a free CEU subscription to meet your licensure renewal requirements
Credentialing Covered: We’ll handle the full credentialing process for you
Steady Caseload: We'll match and maintain your ideal client load within 3 months of completing the insurance credentialing process
Minimal Admin Work: Our team handles intakes, scheduling, billing, and paperwork
Total Flexibility: You decide when and where you work. Telehealth-only = full location freedom
W-2 positions will be available in the near future. Feel free to inquire if preferred.

Our approach integrates humanistic, psychodynamic, and somatic modalities such as EMDR and Trauma Center–Trauma Sensitive Yoga. While we specialize in trauma, we support individuals and couples across a wide range of experiences, identities, and needs.

🧾 What You'll Be Doing
Deliver individual and/or couples psychotherapy to clients of your choosing
Complete progress notes and treatment plans using a streamlined, user-friendly EHR
Conduct basic assessments and tailor care using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches
Maintain professional documentation and uphold clinical best practices
Engage in continued learning and peer collaboration, if desired
Support a positive, inclusive team culture
🎓 Qualifications
Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
Active Hawaiʻi license (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, PhD, etc.)
Experience providing therapy and an understanding of trauma-informed care
Training in EMDR, IFS, somatic or other trauma modalities is a plus (not required)
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, culturally sensitive approach
Comfortable working independently while collaborating within a group practice
